If the 197' depth protection is not needed, the waterproof backdoor can be substituted for the skeleton backdoor, which allows for touchscreen operation. With the waterproof backdoor, operation of the camera is limited to one-button navigation and remote control. To keep image quality pristine, the glass lens on the front is flat, as to not introduce any extra distortion or diffraction.
