This is Australia's largest dedicated DC compressor fridge. With a seperate 60 litre freezer and full safety glass shelves, it's a brilliant fridge for houseboats, motorhomes and all off-grid situations. This is an extra low-power DC fridge with a beautiful black finish. This fridge uses a large, external condenser (heat exchanger) on the back of the fridge to increase air flow which removes heat faster and reduces power consumption. Making it a brilliant, efficient fridge for caravans, RV"s, houseboats, motorhomes and all off-grid situations. All Bushman DC-L models have powdercoated finished sides, so they can be installed into a cavity or used in a free-standing position. Running the fridge from a 12V power source will help with the longevity and performance of this fridge. Bushman recommends that when 240V power is available, use a smart battery charger to charge your battery bank and keep your fridge running direct from the batteries. A small number of customers may want to use this fridge in an 'offgrid living' setup and run the fridge from 240V AC power all of the time - in which case you will need a Power Adaptor to convert AC Power to DC in order to run the fridge.
